Having seven separate courses to accomplish one subject is a lot to complete in a day. That does not even include the other subjects such as math, history, and etcetera. A much easier way to learn and teach language arts is by purchasing or creating curriculum that consolidates all seven components.
When selecting curriculum, consider purchasing one that supports reading quality books as its foundation. Quality literature readily provides a source for teaching nearly all the elements of language arts. You will want to look through the curriculum carefully to make sure it provides everything you are need. It is a possibility you may want to supplement with grammar material.
